The Top 3 Plastic Surgeries Most Idols Regret Getting—According To Crayon Pop’s Way
While many idols have admitted to having successful plastic surgery procedures, not everyone is so lucky. In a new YouTube video on her channel, WayLand, second-generation star Crayon Pop‘s Way revealed the top three cosmetic surgeries the idols around her regretted having.
The first surgery Way says most stars regret is paranasal augmentation. In fact, she doesn’t know anyone who’s been satisfied with it. Paranasal augmentation involves making incisions in the midface area and inserting implants by the smile lines to make your face look less hollow and flat.
Way says this surgery was advertised as a way to make you look elegant, but everyone she knows who got paranasal augmentation regrets it. One reason, according to the star, is that the implants move inside the skin as you smile and talk, making your face look uneven. “The worst thing is your face can look like a monkey or baboon face,” she shared.
Perhaps surprisingly, Way says another highly regrettable plastic surgery is rhinoplasty, also known as a nose job. Nose jobs are some of the most popular cosmetic procedures around the world, and Way says that many people she knows had their lives changed by successful rhinoplasty. However, she’s also seen it go wrong.
Way explained that one common problem is that many stars mistakenly believe that the higher or thinner your nose is, the better. However, excessively high and thin noses don’t look good from all angles. Way went on to reveal for the first time that she actually had a nose job herself, but ended up getting it reversed.
She had an implant installed, but when she saw it after waking up from surgery, she almost fainted. Ultimately, she decided to remove the prosthesis after less than a week, realizing she preferred her natural nose after all. Of course, she acknowledged, not all types of rhinoplasty can actually be reversed.
Last but not least, Way says that many stars who get plastic surgery around their eyes live to regret it. Earlier in her video, Way revealed that double eyelid surgery is one of the most popular cosmetic procedures for K-Pop idols, and Way recently had successful non-incisional eyelid surgery herself. However, she says that eyelid surgery done with incisions can often result in “sausage eyes” with prominent scars.
Likewise, blepharoptosis correction can also turn out to be problematic. This surgery is designed to rectify drooping eyelids, but many patients find that they look like they’re glaring after the procedure is complete. Way says she knows many people whose “cute and lovely” eyes became too “strong” after this irreversible surgery.
