IZ*ONE Have Officially Disbanded — Here’s What May Be Next For Each Member, According To Their Agency
Following IZ*ONE‘s official disbandment and the Japanese members returning to Japan, here’s what each of the Korean members’ agencies have planned next.
IZ*ONE’s official disbandment on April 29 has led to the Japanese members heading back to Japan, and the Korean members preparing for their next move in the entertainment industry. Several of the group’s agencies have shared the next step for their agency’s member of IZ*ONE.
Miyawaki Sakura, Yabuki Nako, and Honda Hitomi
The Japanese line have returned to Japan following IZ*ONE activities, and will be taking a break before making their next steps within the entertainment industry, whether it be in Japan or Korea. Rumors were swirling that they would continue promoting in Korea following the report that Miyawaki Sakura would be joining Big Hit Entertainment, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
Kwon Eunbi and Kim Chaewon
IZ*ONE’s two members from Woollim Entertainment will be returning back to their agency, who stated that no future plans have been confirmed yet.

Choi Yena
Choi Yena will be returning to Yuehua Entertainment, and she already has her first activities following IZ*ONE’s promotions lined up, with a role as a cast member on tvN‘s Amazing Saturday spinoff show Idol Dictation Contest, which will begin on May 21.
We are currently discussing her future activities.

Lee Chaeyeon
Lee Chaeyeon‘s agency put out a simple statement, saying they are still discussing with her.

Jang Wonyoung and Ahn Yujin
Jang Wonyoung and Ahn Yujin will be returning to Starship Entertainment, where they will take a break before discussing their future activities with their company.
Kim Minju
Kim Minju will head back to her agency, Music Works, and continue her career as an artist.
Jo Yuri
Jo Yuri will continue her activities as an artist, however, she will be transferred to a new agency, as her previous agency, Stone Music Entertainment, was shut down by CJ ENM following their internal reorganization.
