4 Times The BTS Members Got Visibly Upset On Camera
The BTS members have had to deal with a lot of upsetting situations throughout their careers, and sometimes, they couldn’t help but show their emotions on camera. Here are 4 times the BTS members got visibly upset on camera.
1. Jimin getting upset at a child for his priorities
In an episode of Hello Counselor, a child was talking about his obsession with plushies. The child shared that he considers his plushies a part of his family, as they were the ones that he played with when his parents were away at work. The child also has a younger sister, who he sometimes tries to get to play with him and his plushies. However, when she declines, the child reacts quite harshly.

The child also stated that he considers his plushies more important than his younger sister.

After the child shared this, Jimin showed an upset and disappointed facial expression.

Jimin ended up telling the child that his behavior was concerning and hoped that he would value his family over his plushies.

2. Suga and RM getting upset at B-Free’s comments
During BTS’s earlier days, Suga and RM guested on Kim Bong Hyun’s Hip-Hop Invitational 1st Anniversary Broadcast. During the broadcast, rapper B-Free criticized RM and Suga for becoming idols, as he didn’t view idols as rappers. However, RM and Suga didn’t understand why they were getting criticized.
B-Free: But you couldn’t win over the temptation (of becoming an idol).
Suga: I don’t understand why you call it a temptation.

BTS’s rap line (RM, Suga, and J-Hope) eventually released a diss track targeting B-Free.
While B-Free did eventually apologize, it was many years later, and ARMYs (BTS’s fandom) didn’t react too warmly to it.

3. When ARMYs were called “crazy”
In an interview with radio personality Syke (@SykeOnAir), there was a moment where Skye called ARMYs “insane”. After he said this, BTS’s facial expressions showed that they weren’t too fond of the comment.

4. When they got asked an inappropriate question
During BTS’s press conference for their album, “MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA”, a reporter asked the members about past allegations that the concept of Blood, Sweat, & Tears” was plagiarized from a French photographer’s work.
I brought up ‘WINGS’ and ‘Blood, Sweat and Tears’ because I wanted to know if… was it plagiar… plagiarizing? I wanted to know more about the issues brought up by the French photographer.
I know this question can be uncomfortable but I wanted to hear what you had to say.

Most of the members were shocked when this question got asked, as this incident had happened years ago. Jimin was a member who showed a heartbreaking reaction when this question got asked.

Suga then responded to this reporter by saying that their company was taking care of everything.
In regards to that, our company’s legal team is talking to the photographer. I believe that our official stance will be the same as our company’s. Our company is currently looking into it, so I’m sure we’ll know when the results come out.
