BTS’s Jimin Is Giving ARMY A New Mission — Do You Accept The Challenge?
The COVID-19 pandemic put the world on pause, but it isn’t stopping BTS from making history.
| @bts_bighit/TwitterOn September 1, “Dynamite” became the first BTS song to debut at No.1 on the Billboard “Hot 100” chart. It has now topped the chart for two consecutive weeks, making BTS the only group of the 21st century to achieve this.
On September 10, BTS appeared on KBS News9 to discuss the success of “Dynamite”, the GRAMMY Awards, the pandemic, and more. Since its release, “Dynamite” has been streamed millions of times and played on radio stations around the globe. If one song has this big of an impact, what will happen when BTS releases their new album this fall?
“It’s hard to say what the album will contain as of now. There are songs as good as ‘Dynamite’, and some are even better, so please look forward to it,” Jimin told KBS News9. “After topping the Billboard charts with ‘Dynamite’, I thought it would be awesome if the entire album could enter the ‘Hot 100’.”

Are fans up to Jimin’s challenge?
Definitely! Getting multiple songs on the “Hot 100” will be an enormous undertaking, but BTS and ARMY have proven time and time again that anything is possible.
