Asian Woman Attacked In New York City Amid Spread Of Xenophobia Due To Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic
According to NBC Asian American, an Asian woman was attacked in New York City on Tuesday. They report that the attack is being investigated as a bias incident, motivated by bigotry spurred on by the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Governor Andrew Cuomo made a statement in which he said:

Additionally, he went on to say, “There is zero evidence that people of Asian descent bear any additional responsibility for the transmission of the coronavirus… No one in this state should ever feel intimidated or threatened because of who they are or how they look.“
