K-Pop Idols Express Their Concern For Victims Of The Taal Volcano Calamity
The Philippines is in a state of turmoil in light of the phreatic eruption of Taal Volcano which began on January 12.
K-Pop idols have expressed their concern towards the victims living near the vicinity.
Infinite‘s L (Kim Myungsoo) posted a message on his Instagram account firstly thanking his fans for a successful Manila fanmeeting which happened on the same day as the calamity.
I would like to thank all the fans who came to the fanmeeting tonight.

He then wished for the safety of all Filipinos in the area.
Due to the eruption of a volcano near Manila, I hope that no one will be affected by this calamity.

Super Junior‘s Siwon also posted a message of concern on his Twitter account, emphasizing the more vulnerable victims.
My prayer goes out to the children and the elderly and infirm of the Philippines. I hope no one is seriously hurt from the volcanic eruptions and the earthquakes.

Taal volcano was set at Alert Level 4 on January 12, gearing for a possible explosive eruption for the first time since 1997.
