10 Times K-Pop Artists Sang Anime Theme Songs

K-Pop is without a doubt one of the most popular things in the world at the moment, and arguably, the only things that live up to K-Pop’s popularity are anime and webcomics. Although, it makes sense when you consider that many idols are basically real-life anime characters and manhwa characters.

Anime and K-Pop just seem to go hand-in-hand, and with that in mind, we’ve compiled a list of 10 times K-Pop artists sang the theme song for anime!

1. “Every Heart” – BoA, Inu Yasha Ending Theme (2002)

2. “Houkiboshi” – Younha, Bleach Ending Theme (2005)

3. “Shinkirou” – Loveholics, Black Blood Brothers Ending Theme (2006)

4. “Share The World” – TVXQ, One Piece Opening (2008)

5. “Take Off” – 2PM, Blue Exorcist Ending Theme (2011)

6. “SATISFACTION” – FTISLAND, Toriko Ending Theme (2011)

7. “In My Head” – CNBLUE, Supernatural: The Animation Ending Theme (2011)

8. “Twinkle Twinkle” – Secret, Rock Lee’s Springtime of Youth Ending Theme (2012)

9. “Hitomi no Melody” – Boyfriend, Detective Conan Ending Theme (2013)

10. “Brand New Days” – Apink, Rilu Rilu Fairilu Opening (2016)

While this is by no means a comprehensive list, and we’re sure we missed something, it is incredible to see how many times there were Korean-Japan crossovers thanks to a united love of anime and K-Pop. With so many new anime coming out every day, surely it won’t be long before we hear Dreamcatcher performing a theme song, which is Siyeon‘s dream!

Which soloist or group would you like to hear perform an anime theme?
