MONSTA X‘s Minhyuk is causing a stir on Korean social media for allegedly smoking indoors.
A past behind the scenes video of one of MONSTA X’s performances has resurfaced, this time with an emphasis on the background.
A person who appears to be Minhyuk was seen crossing the waiting room while casually exhaling smoke.

Smoking itself is not prohibited in South Korea, but there are strict smoking bans indoors and in public places. As of 2013, it is illegal to smoke in all bars, internet cafes, universities, and subways, among others.
His agency, Starship Entertainment, has yet to respond to the controversy.
