SBS To Launch New Basketball Variety Show Starring Seo Jang Hoon, ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo, and Red Velvet’s Joy
SBS will be launching a new basketball themed variety show in January 2020 starring Seo Jang Hoon, ASTRO‘s Cha Eunwoo, Red Velvet‘s Joy, and more.
According to an exclusive report from Ilgan Sports, SBS has begun the production process for their new basketball themed variety show, tentatively called Handsome Tigers.
Handsome Tigers is a concept where Seo Jang Hoon will act as the coach for a team of celebrities who enjoy basketball. The list of celebrities who are slated to join the show include:
Actor Lee Sang Yoon
ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo
Yoo Seonho
Actor Seo Ji Seok
Actor Kim Seung Hyun
Julien Kang
Shorry
Actor Kang Kyung Joon
In addition, Red Velvet’s Joy will be participating on the show as the team’s manager.
The show started its planning phase back in the Summer of 2019, but production only just started due to the inability to coordinate all of the celebrity’s schedules until now. Ahn Jae Cheol PD will lead the show’s production. His previous works include Baek Jong‑won’s Top 3 Chef King. The show is set to begin filming later in December, with the first broadcast planned for January 2020.
