Fans Demand An Apology For Red Velvet’s Injury During SBS Gayo Daejun Rehearsal
Red Velvet’s Wendy recently suffered major injuries during the rehearsal for the 2019 SBS Gayo Daejun. Fans are upset with SM Entertainment with their unsafe conditions for the year-end concert. They are also furious that SBS still aired the pre-recorded performance by Red Velvet.
An online community board also revealed a photo showing a huge empty section at the festival. They explained that this was the designated area for 400 Red Velvet fans. However, after Wendy’s injury, Red Velvet announced that they would not be attending the show. SBS then decided to take back all tickets for this seating area, making fans that came from far away very upset that they could not enter the show. They even had talks about giving those seats to other artists’ fans, but ultimately ended up leaving those 400 seats empty.
Other photos on Twitter revealed that a staff member told Wendy to go outside through the tunnel. But, there were no stairs at the end of the tunnel, which made Wendy fall from a very high platform.
She didn’t fall from the stairs, but a staff told her to go outside from the tunnel and she fell right away because there was no stairs,,,,, sbs are you kidding me,,,,, #SBS_사과해 pic.twitter.com/lCGMyTYAxa

Fans expressed their anger and demanded an apology from SBS.
Fans also hoped that Wendy would get better soon and have a speedy recovery.
This is unfortunate news for ReVeLuvs because Red Velvet just made their comeback before this show. Currently, fans are more concerned with the health and well-being of Wendy and the rest of the members.
Get well soon, Wendy!
