BTS And BLACKPINK Make It Big On Youtube Rewind
Youtube Rewind is an annual celebration of the top creators, music, and moments that happened on the platform. The 2019 video commemorating these people was released on December 5, and it featured prominent K-Pop artists.
BTS‘s J-Hope‘s song “Chicken Noodle Soup” (featuring Becky G) was the ninth most liked video on Youtube. It gained 5.8 million likes in just a few months since its release.
BLACKPINK‘s “Kill This Love” also ranked high as the third most liked video at 10.8 million likes.
With 12.8 million likes, BTS’s “Boy With Luv” was the 2nd most liked video on Youtube for 2019, only following behind Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello‘s “Señorita”.
BTS also gained another achievement for “Boy With Luv” as the biggest 24 hour debut video of the year.
With officially 78.0 million views, it surpassed the previous record of 56.7 million set by BLACKPINK‘s “Kill This Love”.
MAMAMOO was also featured with their 1Million Dance Studio version of “gogobebe” being the 3rd most liked dance video on the platform.
