BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo ranked first in an online poll about MBC‘s hit drama Extraordinary You.
Netizens who voted on Idol Champ‘s poll believed she was the idol best fit to play the character of Eun Danoh, the female protagonist. The role is currently being played by actress Kim Hyeyoon.
With her youthful looks and proven acting skills, Jisoo would have made for a great lead actress. Those who voted also believed she looks good in a school uniform, a necessary trait as the drama is set in high school.
Extraordinary You is a romantic school drama based on the webtoon July Found By Chance. The story revolves around a female student, Eun Danoh, who wants to change her destiny as a minor character in a comic book.
Jisoo acted in the drama Arthdal Chronicles earlier this year. Netizens have since been clamoring for her to take on more acting roles, believing it to be a waste of her talent if she doesn’t.
