9 Celebrity Couples Who Had Their Relationships Exposed By The Paparazzi
Some celebrities, like HyunA and Pentagon‘s E’Dawn, reveal their romantic relationships before the public discovers it, but often times this isn’t the case. To avoid scandal, most K-Celebs date in secret, but one slip-up is all it takes for news outlets to expose their dating news to the world.
1. Taeyeon (Girls’ Generation) and Baekhyun (EXO)
News of this couple’s relationship broke the internet when it was leaked in 2014. On the morning of June 19 2014, Dispatch released photos of the two on a car date that had taken place following the end of an EXO concert on May 26, 2014.
Following the news, SM Entertainment released a statement that confirmed the couple’s relationship.
2. Krystal [f(x)] and Kai (EXO)
Baekhyun isn’t the only EXO member who has been caught dating. In 2016, Dispatch published breaking news about Kai‘s and Krystal‘s romantic relationship. Dispatch reported that these SM Entertainment artists had known each other since their trainee days and started dating in the spring of 2016.
At the time, Kai and Krystal were both swamped with full schedules, but they still managed to find time to meet up for dates.
Dispatch snapped these romantic photos of the couple during their outings.
3. Seolhyun (AOA) and Zico (BLOCK B)
In August 2016, Dispatch released photos of these two top idol stars on multiple dates.
The two reportedly got to know each other through overseas promotions and music programs, and they began dating around March 2016.
Prior to the news, the couple had met up for dates several times throughout the spring and summer months of that year.
4. Suzy and Lee Min Ho
In 2015, these top stars were spotted on a date in London, England.
The photos put the two stars in the same place, at the same time, and were matched together by Dispatch’s investigative team.
The couple took precautions, such as disguising themselves, but it wasn’t enough to fool these eagle-eyed photographers.
5. Yoona (Girls Generation) and Lee Seung Gi
In 2013, Dispatch released a report announcing news of Lee Seung Gi and Yoona‘s relationship.
The photos in the report were from October 8th, 2013, after Lee Seung Gi returned from one of his concerts in Japan. After Lee Seung Gi returned to Korea, he and Yoona allegedly went to the Han River area for an hour-long date.
Usually fans don’t believe dating rumours without confirmation from the couple, but since Lee Seung Gi had repeatedly mentioned Yoona as being his ideal type, the news was far from unexpected.
6. Lee Joon and Jung So Min
At the beginning of 2018, Dispatch published a series of photos that revealed this new celebrity couple.
My Father is Strange co-stars Lee Joon and Jung So Min were snapped together in Cheongdam in December 2017.
Photos from Dispatch revealed the two getting out of the same car together and sharing an embrace.
7. Suzy and Lee Dong Wook
In March, news reports revealed that Suzy and Lee Dong Wook became a couple, despite their 13 year age gap. TV Report snapped photos while witnessing the couple enjoying a date together in Cheondamdong.
After the news broke, Lee Dong Wook’s agency, King Kong Entertainment, confirmed the relationship with an official statement.
8. Kai (EXO) and Jennie (BLACKPINK)
For Dispatch’s 2019 New Year’s Day reveal, they exposed Kai and Jennie’s relationship, with pictures of the couple enjoying dates at a park and Kai picking her up after his schedule in Hawaii.
SM Entertainment later confirmed they were dating, but the couple ended up separating less than a month after the reveal.
9. Kang Daniel and Jihyo (TWICE)
At the beginning of August 2019, Dispatch dropped another bomb by releasing photos of Kang Daniel and TWICE’s Jihyo going on dates at Kang Daniel’s home.
Later that day, both idols’ agencies confirmed they were dating.
