KBS Responds To Rumours That “2 Days & 1 Night” Is Returning
After much speculation by netizens and the Korean public, KBS has responded to rumours that 2 Days & 1 Night is returning.
KBS gave their statement to Sports Chosun on August 13th:
There has been constant discussion about the return of KBS2’s 2 Days and 1 Night and it’s true that possibility is currently being reviewed. However, nothing has been decided.

2 Days & 1 Night has been on a hiatus since March following Jung Joon Young’s scandal. Although Jung Joon Young was removed from the show, the decision was made to suspend the show due to public backlash. To compound matters, cast members Kim Joon Ho and Cha Tae Hyun were revealed to be gambling together and haven’t had a public appearance since this controversy.
