INFINITE’s Contract With Woollim Reportedly Coming To An End, Focus Being Put On Renewal
INFINITE‘s exclusive contract with Woollim Entertainment is coming to an end and the focus is being put on whether or not they will renew their contracts.
According to Donga.com, INFINITE will reportedly soon be discussing their contract renewal with Woollim Entertainment.
INFINITE, who debuted through their first mini album “First Invasion” in June 2010 renewed their contracts with Woollim in August 2017. The renewal period at the time was June 2017, but they eventually signed the renewal contract in August. As a result, it is speculated that INFINITE must now decide whether or not they will be renewing their contracts once again.
L, who has been growing as an actor, is expected to be a key point in the renewal as he is known to have been receiving love calls from numerous agencies. Industry workers have stated that the other members have also been focusing on their individual activities and may be seeking new paths.
Woollim Entertainment, however, has been remaining silent about the issue, which is predicted to come to a conclusion this summer.
Meanwhile, former INFINITE member Hoya did not renew his contract with Woollim in August 2017 and left the team as well. He has since been promoting as an actor and enlisted in the military this February.
