YG Entertainment Has Appointed Their New CEO
Following the resignation of former YG Entertainment CEO, Yang Minsuk (who also happens to be Yang Hyunsuk‘s brother), the company has appointed a new CEO.
The CEO of YG Entertainment is now Hwang Bokyung (pictured below, on the left), who was the former managing director. They have been part of the company since 2001 and spent 18 years as the head of the management support division.
Concerning the scandals surrounding the company now, Hwang Bokyung has said,
We feel a great sense of responsibility in these difficult times. YG Entertainment will set a new foundation to move forward.
