WINNER’s Seunghoon and Seungyoon Share Honest Thoughts About YG’s Controversies

WINNER recently spoke in an interview to commemorate their comeback, where they also opened up about their thoughts on Seungri‘s scandal and YG‘s tax investigation.

What caught the attention of many was when they were asked to point out a weakness of YG Entertainment.

In response to the sensitive question, Lee Seunghoon cleverly replied, “I think the fact that we get a little taken aback every time someone asks about our company is YG’s weakness.”

Regarding the controversies surrounding YG, WINNER’s leader, Kang Seungyoon replied, “I think the company needs to take responsibility for it. It’s something that can be avoided. We’ll work even harder in order to show a better version of ourselves and make positive influences.”

That’s not all. The members also spoke up about the YG Entertainment’s Yang Hyun Suk.

According to Kang Seungyoon, Yang Hyun Suk told them to go their own way, which he interpreted to mean that since they’ve been doing well until now, he trusts them to continue their good work.

Kang Seungyoon also added, “We wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for YG Entertainment. The strong point of our agency is that they were able to help us grow as artists.“
