This Is How MAMAMOO’s Wheein Felt About Featuring In Park Bom’s New Song
Park Bom has made her second comeback as a soloist this year with the song “4:44”.
This sentimental song featured the talented vocals of MAMAMOO’s Wheein. Her soothing tone went perfectly with Bom’s emotive belting and the song’s nostalgic aura.
The two vocalists first met on stage at M! Countdown during the encore. Both Wheein and Hwasa were seen greeting and shaking hands with the legendary singer.
Following this, the MAMAMOO singers were overcome with emotion and Hwasa even burst into tears.
Another Mamamoo x Bom interaction.

What made this moment so emotional for them was the fact that Wheein and Hwasa were fans of 2NE1 ever since they were young girls.
In fact, this legendary girl group were the ones who inspired them to become singers.
But when Wheein was asked to feature on Park Bom’s latest song “4:44”, she was overwhelmed with emotions.
She expresses her feelings in a lengthy Instagram post promoting her collaboration with Bom.
In her caption, Wheein talks about her love for Park Bom that began long before she was even a trainee.
I featured in Park Bom sunbaenim‘s song who was my first and last idol when I was younger
Even though Park Bom endured much hardship because she was falsely accused of being involved in a drug scandal, her unique and emotive voice has inspired so many people, including Wheein.
Subsequently, the idea of singing with the woman who inspired her to sing left Wheein speechless.
I’m not sure how to express this feeling into words. I dreamt of becoming a singer Wheein watching Park Bom sunbaenim and just being able to sing with her from the same place gets me filled with emotions.
While Wheein is undoubtedly a talented singer, she accredits Bom as “her singer”.
My voice being together with the person who is my singer, it makes me feel so strange and happy that I really can’t express it in words.
To conclude her caption, Wheein urged fans to listen and love “4:44” and reassured expectant listeners that it was an excellent song.
MooMoos have been overjoyed that Wheein got to have this incredible opportunity with someone she has looked up to for so many years.
Better yet, although Wheein may idolize Bom, the soloist had nothing but praise for the MAMAMOO singer.
Her soulful and sophisticated voice mixed in well with the dreamy sound…I promoted at the same time as MAMAMOO, and at the time, I wanted to get closer to them.
While preparing for the album, the idea of Wheein featuring in the song was brought up coincidentally, and I thought it was a great idea. I’m glad that an even better song came out because I was able to work with her
Meanwhile BLACKJACKs and BOMSHELLs have been ecstatic that Bom is receiving so much love from her juniors after coming back for the first time in many years.
They are touched that Wheein openly expressed the impact that this iconic singer has had on her and they are pleased that Wheein made the effort to support Park Bom.
With both MAMAMOO and Park Bom planning to release further releases this year, we hope that this will provide more opportunities for this talented women to become closer.
Hopefully there may be more collaborations along the way!
