Starship Boy Group Boyfriend Has Disbanded

Starship Entertainment has just announced that their boy group Boyfriend has disbanded with the end of their contracts.

The company posted a commemoration video, thanking them for their 8 years of promotions.

We sincerely thank you for your passion and heart as a proud Starship artist. We won’t forget all of these moments together. Thank you.

Starship Entertainment also released a longer statement confirming the group will no longer be promoting together.

We would like to thank the fans who have supported Boyfriend for the past 8 years.

After careful discussions between the agency and the members about their future activities, the decision was made to end their contracts on May 16, 2019 and end their group activities after 8 years.

We sincerely thank everyone who sent the members of Boyfriend love for 8 years, and ask for everyone to support them in their new starts.
