Former Produce X 101 Trainee Yoon Seobin Apologizes To The Public In Handwritten Letter
Trainee Yoon Seobin, who was recently kicked out of Mnet’s Produce X 101 due to his controversial past, has apologized to the public in a handwritten letter.
On May 8, Yoon Seobin took to Instagram to upload a handwritten apology letter to the public.
Read his letter below:
I don’t know how to begin…
First of all, I am writing this letter as I’d like to sincerely apologize to those who have supported me and to everyone who has been affected by me.
I spent my school days being too naive and not knowing the world. My wrong behavior such as drinking and smoking, which I should not have done as a minor in my past, and my dream… I was extremely afraid every day. I felt like I was running towards a cliff alone and was always met by fear and worry.
But because of this fear, I have never tried to hide or deceive my mistakes in the past and I have never hidden anything that has happened until now from my company as well.
Through this incident, I carefully thought about how I could have made other friends uncomfortable as I looked back and remembered the records and actions of my past.
Even if they do not exist in the records or my memory, the fact that this controversy arose was due to the fact that some people experienced a difficult time because of me so I’d like to sincerely apologize to them.
Rather than receiving forgiveness, I am very sorry towards all the people who may be suffering, my agency, the program staff and the trainees who I trained together with. I’m sorry.
