KBS Rules BLACKPINK’s “Kill This Love” Unfit for Broadcasting Due to Traffic Law Violation

KBS recently shared their music video deliberation results for the fourth week of April, one of which was the disqualification of BLACKPINK‘s hit MV, “Kill This Love”.

Since KBS has been known to be quite strict in terms of regulations, the disqualification might not have been too surprising to some, but what is catching many netizens off guard is the fact that the reason for its disqualification was traffic law violation.

In order to uncover the reason behind the MV’s disqualification, it appears that netizens have been looking through the MV and suspecting that it might have to do with Rosé‘s driving scene.

Some netizens are wondering if it has to do with the fact that Rosé was driving while crying…

While others are wondering if it’s related to the scene where Rosé was seen jaywalking.

Others are pinpointing the fact that Rosé wasn’t wearing a seatbelt during the driving scene.

Regarding this matter, some netizens are finding the disqualification unsurprising due to the fact that KBS is a public broadcasting company…

And others are bringing up past MV disqualifications by KBS such as Psy‘s “Gentleman” where Psy kicked a traffic cone, and Lee Hyori‘s “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” where Lee Hyori walked in the middle of the streets.
