Jimin Found A Way To Make Himself Taller And RM Burst Out Laughing
BTS‘s Jimin gained a few inches of height by getting creative at THE FACT Music Awards.
At approximately 173.6cm (5’8.3″) Jimin isn’t very small, but since he’s one of BTS’s two shortest members his height has been a running joke for years. He looks especially smol when posing with BTS’s tallest member, RM.
On April 24, BTS attended the first U+5G THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS. By the end of the night, they were named the first-ever winners of the “Artist of the Year” award, “U+ Idol Live Popularity Award”, “Best Album” award, and the “THE FACT Music Daesang”.
When BTS went up to accept their Daesang, they took turns giving speeches. While Jimin was talking, RM glanced down and suddenly started to laugh.

Jin leaned over and followed RM’s gaze to find out what was so funny.

It turns out that Jimin was standing on the mic stand! This made him just the right height to speak into the microphone without having to adjust it.
