BTS Wins TIME 100 Reader Poll For 2019 Making It Their Second Consecutive Win
BTS won the 2019 TIME 100 Reader Poll, their second consecutive win on the prestigious voting! They accrued about 6% of the readers’ choice votes. They beat out former first lady Michelle Obama, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, teen activist Greta Thunberg, famous artist Lady Gaga and more!
Now that the readers have said their piece, the magazine’s editors will be selecting the eventual TIME 100 list. The official list will be announced on April 17.
This isn’t BTS’s first time ranking on TIME’s lists. They were named one of TIME’s Most Influential People on the Internet for both 2017 and 2018! They’ve also graced the cover of the historical magazine, making it a fitting piece as BTS continues to make history left and right!
