The photocards feature the girls looking at the camera seriously, almost emotionless. Their faces have bruises on them. Jennie has a bruise on her left cheek while Lisa has one her right cheek. Jisoo has one on by her brow bone and Rosé has one by her lip.

Fans are calling BLACKPINK and YG Entertainment out for using abuse as a concept.

Many have spoken up to say, however, that the lyrics of “KILL THIS LOVE” reference leaving a toxic relationship where the girls are victims of domestic abuse. They say that they never meant to offend people, but to bring awareness to domestic abuse and empower women.

Despite this, fans are still upset and believe that just because the song was about abuse, the photocards didn’t need to actually visualize it.

Many are upset because it is a real situation that women go through every day but it’s now being used for aesthetic.

There has been no comment from YG Entertainment concerning the photocards.
