SNSD Yuri Is Supposedly Opting out of Group Photos Due to Her Brother’s Implication in Seungri’s Scandal

Recently, a VIP viewing of SNSD‘s Sooyoung‘s new film, Memories of a Dead End was held, which fellow members Taeyeon, Hyoyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun attended for support.

It’s been reported that SNSD’s Yuri attended this event as well, but she was nowhere to be seen in the photos that were posted.

The next day, Sooyoung posted a series of photos on her official Instagram account along with the caption, “I’m jealous of you, Sooyoung. Memories of a Dead End. SNSD is the best.”

But once again, Yuri wasn’t in any of these photos either, and there’s one common speculation for why that is.

It’s predicted that it has to do with the fact that her brother Kwon Hyuk Joon has been reported to have been best friends with Seungri and Jung Joon Young who are currently buried deep within their respective scandals.

With so many innocent idols getting pulled in to the scandal for just about any reason, it’s predicted to be very likely that Yuri is making an effort to keep her beloved SNSD members out of it.

Her brother, Kwon Hyuk Joon has recently participated in the case as a testifier and stressed that even though he was a part of the chatroom once, he knew nothing of soliciting prostitution or any other crimes that are currently under investigation.
