The Hidden Effect of BLACKPINK’s Light Stick Freaked out the Audience

On January 23, the 8th Gaon Chart Music Awards took place, and BLACKPINK won Artist of the Year for the month of June.

In order to accept the award, the BLACKPINK members went up on stage, and Rosé stepped up to deliver their speech.

In the middle of Rosé’s speech, a sudden squeak could be heard in the audience.

According to this fan footage, the squeak came from a fan in the audience who discovered the hidden effect of the BLACKPINK light stick.

After accidentally hitting on her light stick, she realized that it made a distinct squeak sound and exclaimed in awe.

She then continued to squeak it during Rosé’s speech for all to hear.

In response, the audience could be heard saying “Wow“, and “That’s so cute“.

Their exclamations must have been loud enough for Jennie to hear because she was seen looking up wondering what was going on.
